Zendala Dare #60 - Do Over

Don't you wish sometimes in life that when you screw up you will get a chance to do things over? Just start from the beginning? I think we all do at some point. This week Erin gave us the opportunity to do over a template which gave us trouble, or we did not like. I did not have to look very far. Template #58 was a problem for me.

Template from "thebrightowl.blogspot.com"

Not that I did not like the template, but I just did not know what to do with it. I started filling in lines and one thing led to another and voila here's what happened. I did not appreciate it so colored it hoping something magical would happen. NOPE!!!!! To me it was unfinished and had more to say. I did not even post.

Zendala Dare #58
THE DO OVERRRRRRR...............
So much happier with this one. I was just introduced to nzeppel, and think it worked so well in the background.

I think they are both lovely. I agree the second one is just a tiny big more favorite for me. Love them both. Nzeppel is also one of my favorite go to tangles.

Your do over is lovely with just the right amount of color. Plus somehow the template is not as noticeable and the tangles make the art.

Thanks for your comments Linda and Janet. @Janet, thanks for making the observation of the template not being noticeable. I did not realize that until you mentioned it and I looked at it again.

Don't you think that's why we like computer games so muc, the possibility to 'load a game', so do it again?
Your old zendala is not bad at all, a pitty that you did not post it.
The new one is beautiful, nZeppel is great here.

Truthfully, I like both tiles. I love the bold color contrast on the first and the delicate flow of the second. Sometimes we judge ourselves too harshly. : )
