Diva Challenge #142 comfort/danger zone

Moving away from your comfort zone and more toward the danger zone was this weeks challenge. My danger zone has to be the grids. Some how I usually start off really well and somewhere along the way things get twisted and it gets screwy. My comfortable area are the florals and the organis and the swirls.

I was browsing pinterest during the week and stumbled upon Beth Snoderlys' design "Bumpkenz". I tried but somehow think I did not follow the step outs correctly. But it come out okay, I cannot complain. Deffinitly one to put on the try again list.

Great job, you've conquered your grid fobia beautifully!

This is a beautiful monotangle! The coloring is so very lovely & compliments the work so well. This made me think of a new thing outside of my comfort zone - non-square/straight outside borders. I really like that effect, & use it when doing non zia/zentangle work - now I've gotta give it a go!

Again, beautiful tile!

Nice job on this tangle. I am a little surprised by the number of people who have listed the grids as uncomfortable for them. You did a nice job.

Like Donald I'm surprised by the fact that lots of people have problems with grids.
You would never know that you are one of them looking at your beautiful tile.
