Our template challenge from Erin this week was shared by Mariet who tried her hand at designing a template. "You go girl"@ Mariet. She did a great job with this template. I really enjoyed working with it. Mariet is an amazing "tangler" and I enjoy her work. Thank you for sharing.
For this Zendala I used keeko, port holes and what's the flower thing in the middle? I have it in my book to zentangles but there is no reference at all. I used a grey pen and pencil for shading. But for some reason I don't like the tone of grey. Perhaps the brown dosen't really go with the grey. I don't know. Something just seems off. What do you think?
Have a great week.

Thank you for the compliment, It was a real pleasure to work on the template, and it's so nice to see what you all are making with it.
Your Zendala is a joy for the eye....Lovely !
Beautiful zendala! Especially I like the border. The soft color in the center adds a nice touch! Nicely done!
I like it. The brown is not overpowering of the piece. Nice composition.
Nicely done.
All I can say is my immediate reaction was 'stunning!'. I know what you mean about using grey pens for shading - when I do it, I think something is off, but it looks the opposite to someone else. Your colour combination is beautiful, as is the whole zendala.
Thank you all fr you lovely comments and even taking the time to comment. So appreciated.
I think you did a great job!!! I love the grey and also the brown, I think you are to hard on yourself!
